We have so more exciting news.. Not only did we head out to Waterford for the NBHA Eastern Canadian Finals, we all did very well. Coats were won by both Karen and Krystie, Karen also recieved a belt buckle. Katie and Krystie each recieved an embroidered cooler for their horses. Nice NBHA bags were won by Karen, Katie, Kelsey, and Krystie and hats for both Tyler and Krystie as well. Thomas and Katie each won lots of Halloween Candy and some money,and speaking of money, boy did Tyler rake it in!! Congrats goes out to all for a wonderful way to end the season! On Behalf of the Small's, Kelsey, Brianne, Nikki, Roxanne and the rest of the Barrel competitors, I would like to thank Karen Aitken for all the hard work (and long drives), that get us to these shows. As well, I would like to thank all the Parents that put up with us!

Well, the end has come to the 2008 Show season and we have some exciting news! Karen, Tyler, and Katie Aitken, Krystie and Thomas Small, and Kelsey Boots are travelling all the way to Waterford ON. to compete in the National Barrel Horse Association Finals. The show will be broadcast on www.barrelhorses.com and the schedule will be posted in the "NBHA Barrel Finals(WATERFORD)" for anyone who would like to watch us run!

Congratulations to Aaron DeBoer on his purchase of Spirit, a 4 yr old appaloosa gelding. Spirit is a very quiet horse and Aaron has already gone to one show & did wonderful.
RQH has a new lesson pony named Ruby. Ruby is a large bay pony & she is a sweetie.
Darma had a nice dark chestnut colt named Luther.
Spring 2008 has been a busy season. There have been many new horses at the barn. Milo has had a new filly named Savannah, she is very tall & cute. We are now anxiously awaiting the arival of Darmah's baby, Darmah is a grey welch/QH cross pony.
There are some new horse owners... Stacey Deboer has purchased J and they are doing very well together. Angie Boileau has a new mare named Holly who is proving to be a good horse for her. Emma Sao Miguel and Booney are making a good jumping team. And, we welcome Erika Gargano & Joe back to the barn.
Tyler's putting on some barrel miles on his new horse Go Spin An Dash, Azure is also being shown this year by Krystie Small who has worked all spring at getting her ready for the season,Katie just got a new barrel pony that she is working extra hard to get going for the show season. Nikki Casselman has Chance in a western saddle now & is training for the games and Karen will be showing Rebel at the shows this year as well. There's alot of new barrel blood in the barn, wishing everyone the best of luck.
